The Deer Hunter's Best Leg Exercise

There’s an old saying that “the legs feed the wolf,” and it couldn’t be more true for deer hunters. We hike over rough terrain, carry heavy gear, climb trees, stand for hours on end and drag deer out of the woods. The basic squat, and simple variations of it, is one of the best ways to strengthen your legs for the hunt. Add weight and repetitions as you become more confident. Here’s how to do it right.
