First Lite
products available for customers at First Lite's store

First Lite fans no longer have to shop online only, as long as they’re near Idaho. The hunting and fishing outfitters opened their first brick-and-mortar store in Hailey, a little over two hours east of Boise. First Lite is a part of the MeatEater brand family and previously only offered online shopping. The store will feature gear from sister brands like Phelps Game Calls and Fish Hunt Fight Gear, as well as the full range of First Line’s products. The variety doesn’t stop there, though. The retail store will also sell legacy gear lines from YETI, Vortex Optics, and Benchmade Knives.

“We’re incredibly excited to share the First Lite Flagship store with our community here in Hailey, Idaho, and with the entire First Lite family. As a direct-to-consumer brand, this allows us to showcase our gear in person and provide custom shopping experiences for all of our customers,” said Bridget Noonan, First Lite Vice President & General Manager. “Our first ever brick-and-mortar space will advance the way we interact with our customers and bring First Lite to the forefront of the hunting and outdoor apparel market.”

The store will have much more than apparel and gear. Shoppers will have the opportunity to attend in-store events, including hunter safety courses, cooking and butchering demos, chats with First Lite ambassadors, and more. The grand opening on August 26 included appearances from MeatEater’s Ryan Callaghan, Sean Weaver, and Janis Putelis.

“Ever since First Lite became part of the MeatEater family, they have been an integral part of our growth and the embodiment of where we are going as a company. We’re proud to announce the next step in that growth with the opening of this beautiful new store in Hailey, where we can showcase First Lite’s innovative products and the entire MeatEater family of brands, which we believe is the best damn gear on the market. We are excited to open this store to the community and all our First Lite customers,” said Dan Chumbler, MeatEater CEO.

If you are in the neighborhood, eager to gear up for that big hunting trip you’ve been planning all year, you have an in-person place to enjoy perusing top-quality hunting apparel and gear. See the First Lite website for more information.
