Yesterday as with many of us, my wife and I were Christmas shopping. Well we headed out with a few stops in mind and had read that a local Clam/Vexilar Pro Tim Moore was in my neck of the woods at Cabela’s. Tim and I had never met personally, but I had heard he was on heck of an angler. Slaying fish in open water and ice conditions with equal success. Not to mention his successes on a kayak! Well with some arm twisting during our brief meeting, Tim will be providing ODU with some hints, tips and story’s for our readers to enjoy moving forward. Tim it was great talk and I appreciate the insight into Vexilar and the handheld unit they sell called the LPS-1.

Here is a bit about Tim: “I began guiding in February of 2006. Now more than eleven years later, through lots of help and hard work, and in response to feedback from thousands of clients, Tim Moore Outdoors is one of New England’s most well-known and sought after guide service.

As an industry promoter, I reach as many as four million potential impressions every month through my work as a guide, seminar speaker, and outdoor writer, as well as television and radio appearances.

We care about the quality of trips we offer our clients and try to make it show in every aspect of our business. From our informative website to our attentiveness on the water or ice, we believe that once we get a new client…they are our client for life. We do our utmost to make that true.

We offer fully-guided ice fishing trips on Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lakes, kayak fishing trips for striped bass, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, trout, and many other species throughout most of the state, as well as freshwater trips in our boat for landlocked salmon, lake trout, northern pike, crappie, and bass.

You bring your own food, appropriate clothing, and fishing license, and let us take care of the rest.”
