Tidal Basin, Washington, DC. It was extremely fogging that day and very early in the morning. The color is from the ambient lights around. Making sure the exposure was what I wanted took some time. Some of the dark areas of the first tree were lightened in Lightroom. Other minor processing was done to enhance the ambient light. Canon 5D Mark III, Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM, Gitzo G 320 tripod, Acratech GP Ballhead. Exposure: 32 sec., f/5.6, ISO 250.

Constitution Gardens, Washington, DC. The challenge was trying to create images of DC that haven’t been seen before or you would think of in popular locations but often times overlooked. Canon 5D Mark III, Canon EF 70-200mm IS USM, Gitzo G 320 tripod, Acratech GP Ballhead. Exposure:
1/500 sec., f/9.5, ISO 3200.
